Privacy, terms and complaints.

This page is intentionally marked as a prototype. It must be reviewed by Hintonster’s legal/compliance advisers against applicable Nigerian lending, consumer-protection and data-protection requirements before publication.

Proposed privacy approach

Hintonster should explain what customer information it collects, the purpose for collection, lawful basis, third-party sharing, retention periods, security controls and customer rights. The production site should avoid collecting unnecessary sensitive data through ordinary web forms.

Application information should be securely transmitted, access-controlled and retained only in line with the company’s approved legal, regulatory and operational requirements.

The website customer assistant and contact channels collect a customer’s name, email address, phone number, enquiry/complaint category and message so Hintonster can identify, record and respond to the submission. Production privacy wording should specify retention, access, sharing and deletion arrangements.

Website and finance terms

Website calculations, examples and eligibility descriptions are illustrative only and do not constitute a credit offer. A finance facility exists only where Hintonster issues applicable approved terms and the customer validly accepts them.

All products may be subject to identity verification, credit assessment, documentation, fees, security, affordability or repayment-capacity review and other applicable requirements.

Proposed complaints process

Customers should have a clearly identified channel for complaints. Hintonster should acknowledge complaints promptly, investigate objectively, maintain records, communicate outcomes clearly and provide escalation information where required.

Before launch, management should approve a dedicated complaints email/phone line, service-level targets and regulatory escalation wording. Website complaints receive a reference number, are stored in the Admin Console and can also be routed to the configured Hintonster notification inbox.
